火车票花今天在家收到两个东西 - 火车票 和 花
哈哈哈哈哈...我越来越喜欢快递人员了
i always thought flowers were so cheesy until the first time i received it for my graduation hehehe even just from a bff w.e. it was a very nice feeling....haha i never thought it was from him when sage was there hahah i guess he's never a flower boy...
i stilk kept that dry rose ray once gave me at the airport hehe out of demand and surprise at the same time ^_^
for the past twenty years i always thought time was the best present...i;d rather spend time than to give a physical present to someone...but i tend to find that people put memories attached to those phiscal things....say like "xxx gave this for me for my birthday"....“we bought xxx when we were wandering around in bj rd...." haha
when i was having dinner with maying and jun last night...it wasnt my first time hearing jun saying about dora and my red underwear gift hahah
and when i put on ray's earings...i always remembered the txt i sent him the first couple days we met....
alexis said that he cried like a baby (of course no one sees it) when he got my mail in the student drop-off box...and reciprocally...when my mom accidentally took my "one million us dollar" away i madly searched for it....
now i regret the childish moment when i teared down all the pieces of cocotree that sage had once drawn..one day i accdientally found his hand print it was almost like a treasury discovered in dust.
so i learned...a present does worth a million words and its value is what endures time.
Thank you for the white flowers.
August 21 complicated endThis was an complicated goodbye...i didnt expect the end to g and m would be rough or it might as wel just because of miscommunication...if i had took initative to ask them it might have been much smoother...
still paul's email made me have mixed feelings...i did deeply appreciate the way he recognized me and my strengths...but at the same time i didnt quite feel it was my fault of not saying goodbye that caused their refusal to ask me back....i could tell that straight from g...pretty much b/c i wasnt really quite good with the research overall but honestly that was a deep learning curve for me...and in the end...i think this 4 month tenure was quite a valuable one in the sense that it gave me real life experience of working with people relationships....
i am greatly thankful for developing the working...living relationsihp and awesome friendship with michelle..she was an awesome person and great friend to have...someone that i learned a great deal from...i also really appreicate paul because his charisma of being an approchable boss...i had never felt pressure from him and he's always encouraging which i believe is an important trait for a successful leader...to make your team and employees feel that you are part of his family in a sense.
m was a great teacher of economics and finance and have become a motherly role ever since having her child...i never wanted to disapoint her because i appreciate what she had taught me. i really felt sorry for not saying goodbye in the end...that was prob my only regret...
other than that...i am grateful for having worked with media team and the friendship with them as well...duncan...henry...nova...arron..lynn...these are all very sweet people that i will remember for a lifetime and hopefully our paths will cross again in the future.i know that they are all very smart as well.
indeed...i really wish aquaspace will excel from the restructure and become a very professional and successful company. i wish them all the best.
August 05 FocusFocus On The Opportunities
by Donald J. Trump The following question was submitted to "Ask Donald Trump" by a Trump University member. Question: You have faced some really big challenges and some very difficult circumstances in your life. What activities, words of wisdom and other tools do you use to get yourself back up to remain positive? What advice would you offer to anyone struggling today? My Response: Your focus is very important--so be sure to focus on the opportunities, because they are always there. For example, if 90% of companies aren’t hiring, then focus on the 10% that are. I learned to focus less on the problem and more on the solution, which works. Do not allow negativity to cloud your goals or ambitions. Great things have been accomplished in hard and even tumultuous times. When I faced difficult circumstances, I didn’t underestimate the problems but I refused to give in to them. Realize that you are very strong and very capable. Inspirational quotes help too. Here’s one from Emerson to think about when you might be doubting yourself: “What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.” I knew I was resilient and focused on the great things I would do once I got through the hard times. I would also ask myself, “Is this a blip or is it a catastrophe?” Earthquakes, wars, tsunamis--those are catastrophes. Put things into perspective and know that within you is the power to persevere and win.
